Untold Stories Archive

Growing up, I was captivated by my grandpa’s stories about history—they sparked a lifelong curiosity in me. This passion deepened two years ago when I read Shashi Tharoor’s The Era of Darkness, a book that moved me deeply and exposed the gaps in our understanding of British colonial rule in India. It became clear that our history books, particularly NCERT, often overlooked the struggles and sacrifices of countless individuals who fought for India’s independence.

Here are some of my favourite pieces from @untoldstoriesarchive—each created with meticulous research and designed to make these incredible stories accessible and engaging. This project is my way of paying homage to these forgotten heroes by presenting their stories in a simple, digestible format.

It was a true honour when the PRO of Raj Bhavan Maharashtra recognised my work and invited me to contribute designs to the Bunker Museum, giving me the opportunity to further share these untold stories.
