Pure Pops Packaging Design

When I was approached to design packaging for Pure Pops collaboration with Surfers for Climate, they had one specific request: include a graph showing rising ocean temperatures. At first, I instinctively thought, “This won’t work.” The graph was too complex and not suited for packaging—it wasn’t visually engaging or easy to understand at a glance.

But instead of dismissing the idea, I started exploring ways to make it work. After a few initial iterations, I realised the graph didn’t need to stay as it was. I could simplify it and only focus on the key data points that mattered most. Then it hit me: what if the popsicle stick itself became part of the design?

It took several rounds of refinement, but the final result was something I was truly proud of. The packaging communicated the message clearly while still being eye-catching and on-brand.
